The 130 students of the Jinaraja Girls School in Gampola continue to receive treatment at the Gampola Hospital following an allergy, while over 1000 students have so far received treatment from hospital since this morning. 

According to the Director of the Gampola Hospital Dr. Sarath Bandara the condition of the admitted students are not serious.

Meanwhile Public Medical Health Officials suspect that the allergy has been caused by a certain species of fleas.

Chief Minster of the Central Province Sarath Ekanayaka speaking to our news team stated that the school will be shut down for 2 days following degermification.
