Majority of the urban population in Sri Lanka are at the risk of suffering heart attacks.

The minister of health states that the amount of fatty acids in the blood of a majority of the urban population in Sri Lanka has increased.

A recent test has revealed that due to this the amount of enzymes found in the liver of such individuals has also increased and this has been caused by long term consumption of fast food.

Nutritionist of the ministry of health, Dr. Renuka Jayatissa stated that under these circumstances, a majority of the urban population in Sri Lanka are at the risk of suffering heart attacks.
