Army commander demands 200 million rupees of reperations

Army Commander Lieutenant General Jagath Jayasuriya has filed a case against two Jaffna based newspapers Udayan and Walampuri demanding reparation of 200 million rupees.

The Army Commander has filed the case citing that the two newspapers had carried articles that were insulting.

Army media spokesperson Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasekara stated that the case has been filed at the Jaffna District Court.
