Today in Parliament, the marital life of Minister Dilan Perera was brought to the spotlight during the debate regarding the 3rd reading of the budget.
Speaking first, UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayak stated that although it is stated that 6 billion dollars are being earned through foreign employment, there are over 600 Sri Lankans struggling in the Oleyya Camp.
MP Ramanayaka further stated that although Minister Dilan Perera has been notified regarding this on several occasions, that the minister has not taken action and that the minister has in turn accused those who are trying to help in a derogatory manner.
He also stated that the minister's 3 marriages had broken down.
The minister in return responded stating that MP Ramanayaka made a mistake in alleging that 3 marriages of the minister had broken down and that only 2 of his marriages had broke down.
