Leadership training timeframe for Universities students reduced

The ministry of higher education states that the leadership training program for the University students will commence on the 27th of next month at 24 defence training centres.

The ministry further stated that approximately 27 thousand 600 students are scheduled to take part in the leadership training program that will be held in 3 stages.

The training program that was held over a course of 3 weeks last year will be completed in 2 weeks this year.

Director General of student’s affairs in the Ministry of Higher Education, Keerthi Mawaellage made the following statement.

He further stated that several additional elements have been included to the program compared to the program held last year.
