A committee has been appointed to study the report submitted to the UN Secretary General with regard to the manner the UN acted during the last phase of the Humanitarian Operation.

The InnerCity Press web-site said that UN Secretary General's Media Spokesman Martin Nesaki had said that the said committee had been appointed under a UN Secretary General Baan Ki Moon's assistant secretary Jaan Elisan.

A committee had been appointed under a UNO officer Charles Pedri to probe the manner in which the UNO had acted during the last phase of the Humanitarian Operation.

That report was submitted to the UN Secretary General recently.

It was confirmed in the report that the UNO had not acted properly during the last phase of the Humanitarian Operation.

The UN Secretary General had also expressed regret with regard to it.
