The Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to investigate the impeachment motion filed against Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranaike concluded its activities a short while ago.
However attorney's representing the Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranaike noted that the Chief Justice and her legal team had walked out from the proceedings of PSC sighting lack of faith in proceedings.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to investigate the impeachment motion filed against the chief justice convened for a fourth occasion today, while Chief Justice Dr. Shirani Bandaranaike appeared before the PSC marking a third occasion.
Chairman of the PSC Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa raising a privilege question in parliament today, requested for the speakers guidance in providing the media with information pertaining to the committee's findings.
Followingly fellow members of the PSC, parliamentarians John Amarathunga, Lakshman Kiriella & Minister Wimal Weerawansa also expressed their observations in this regard.
