President Mahinda Rajapaksa states that the aim of the countries executive, constitution & judiciary should be to serve its people.
President Rajapaksa speaking further noted that the judiciary should act in an ire-proachable manner, while preserving its dignity.
The Presidents comments in this regard came during a function which was held to declare open the newly constructed building of the Minuwangoda Pradeshiya Sabha this morning.
President Rajapaksa also noted that if the people of a country had lost their faith in the judiciary, such a situation would make it impossible to rule that country.
While stating that certain parties were prying to politicize the judiciary by attempting to create factions within it, President Rajapaksa cautioned the public of the country to remain vigilant against such transgressors.
