The Mount Lavinia police arrested a Japanese who was alleged to have printed a distorted version of the Sri Lankan national flag on post cards.


The man had distorted the national flag by replacing the image of the lion with a panda.

He was produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate and was remanded until the 20th of this month.
He was arrested at the Mount Lavinia Post Office while in the process of mailing the 42 post cards to Japan.
