Various reports continue to emerge concerning occurrences of yellow pigmented showers, which come hot on the heels of the red rain phenomena, which were equally experienced in many parts of the island during the recent past.
When contacted by our news team Director of the Medical Research Institute Dr. Anil Samaranayeke noted that samples of the rain water were due at the MRI tomorrow, followed by which investigations would commence.
Meanwhile in related developments rains received in the Sirambiadiya area in Puttlam today had accompanied fish.
According to area residents the fish had been accompanied with heavy showers received in the area this evening.
