The disciplinary report regarding the UNP party members who participated in the rally held by the Democratic National Alliance at Hyde Park under the patronage of the DNA leader Sarath Fonseka in Hyde Park is to be presented shortly.
A senior UNP spokesperson stated that the report will be presented during the next Party Working Committee session.
According to the disciplinary inquiries conducted, two party members of the Kurunegala and Puttalam districts who had their party membership suspended will be expelled from the party.
However, the Kaluthara district member will be pardoned after he had accepted the fault during the disciplinary hearing.
It is also reported that instructions have been issued by the party leadership to complete all the disciplinary investigations conducted within UNP by the next month.
