Struggles from UNP and JVP.

The Jatika Sevaka  Sangamaya  affiliated to the UNP says that the year 2013 has been declared the year of struggle for winning the working people's rights.

JSS chairman MP Dr. Jayalath Jayawardhana told our news team that all trade unions had been invited for this.


Meanwhile the National Trade Union Centre affiliated to the JVP is getting ready to form a new front for winning the working people's rights.

NTUC chairman K. D. Laalkaantha said that a programme of distribution of relevant handouts would be implemented island-wide from today.
