3 abandoned girls handed over to the Bandaragama police

The Bandaragama police had to provide protection to 3 girls at the dawn of the New Year due to 3 girls being abandoned in the city.


During the investigations it has been revealed that the mother of the 3 children had handed over the children to a tri shaw driver and asked the driver to leave them at the Bandaragama bus stand following a family argument.


The 3 children aged 10, 8 and 4 years, were discovered by a family of street performers and they had handed the children over to the police.


A spokesperson for the Bandaragama police stated that the father of the 3 girls has arrived at the police at present.


The mother in the family of street performers spoke to our news team and had the following to say.
