A tense situation before law college

A tense situation arose before the law college in Colombo today between a group of students who had attempted to hand over an epistle alleging that discrepancies had occurred during last year's law entrance examination & police officers.


The Law Entrance Students Union in an expression of dissent against the alleged discrepancies engaged in a protest march which commenced from the Fort railway station to the Law College.


Upon their arrival at the location students engaged in a peaceful sit-down campaign and urged authorities for an audience with officials.


Subsequently when they had attempted to handover an epistle to the principal of the law college a tense situation had arisen between them & police.
