The Principal of the Law College Professor W.D. Rodrigo has requested of the Commissioner General of Examinations to re-assess the answer papers of the 2012 law entrance examination & submit a detailed report to him.

 

When a group of Bodhu Bala Sena representatives met with the Commissioner General of Examinations at the department premises this morning the CG of Examinations stated that if a request is tendered by the principal of the Law College appealing for the re-examination of examination results or its cancellation such a request could be considered.

 

Venerable Ambilipitiye Wijitha Thero expressing his views to our news team stated that the Commissioner General of Examinations had assured them of this subsequent to the groups meeting.

However previously Commissioner General of Examinations

W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara made the following observations with regard to allegations being levelled against the recently held law entrance examination.

Meanwhile the principal of the law college has decided to postpone the registration of novice students by a month, subsequent to this afternoon's meeting with officials of the Bodhu Bala Sena.
