Nawala Urban Wetland Park opened

Nawala+Urban+Wetland+Park+opened+

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday declared open the Urban Wetland Park, established down Nawala Road in Nugegoda.

 

81.6 million Rupees has been spent for the construction of the Park and it comprises places for resting, walkways and exercising space, children's parks, ponds and lush greenery.

 

The President had also met with the public who were at the park at the time of the opening.
