Talk about action against a new CJ

Attorneys who appeared on behalf of the Chief Justice say that they are considering which action could be taken if a new Chief Justice is appointed.


However, Attorney at law Krishmal Warnasuriya expressed the following views.




We also inquired from Senior Attorney at Law Gomin Dayasiri if any action can be taken if a new Chief Justice is appointed.


He stated that action can be taken only if the new Chief Justice is deemed unqualified to hold the position.
