33,500 army deserters discharged from service

The Army Headquarters state that close to 33,500 deserters have been officially discharged from service.

 

Speaking to our news team, Army Media spokesperson Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya stated that disciplinary action is scheduled to be taken against close to another 30,000 deserters.
