Foreign affairs Minister briefs the international community.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry briefed the foreign ambassadors and High Commissioners in Sri Lanka on the true state regarding the impeachment implemented against the former Chief Justice and the appointment of the new Chief Justice.


Foreign Affairs Minister Professor G. L. Peiris said that on that occasion the diplomats had been briefed also about Sri Lanka's current political economic and social situation.


The Minister said so while participating at a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday.
