High price of vegetables to last for at least 6 more weeks

According to sources based at the country’s Main Economic Centre the prices of vegetables which have risen by 100% at present may take around 6 weeks to return to normalcy following dwindling supplies.


Meanwhile supplies of vegetables being received at the manning Market in Colombo has halved its normal consignment.
