Second+year+student+of+Jaffna+university+attempts+suicide

A second year student of the Jaffna university attempted to commit suicide by setting herself alight today.

 

The 22 year old student was admitted to the Jaffna hospital and she is thought to be in critical condition.

 

Meanwhile, Minister of Higher Education S B Dissanayaka stated that 93 percent of university students do not pay sufficient attention towards physical and mental fitness.
