Solutions delayed-TNA tells visiting delegation

A delegation headed by Australian Deputy Opposition leader Julie Bishop arrived in the island today.

Subsequent to their arrival the group had held talks with representatives of the Tamil National Alliance.

According to TNA Parliamentarian M.A. Sumanthiran discussions between the two groups had extensively focussed on the migrant boat people issue.


Moreover the Australian delegation will tour the Kilinocchi area tomorrow.


It is also reported that the three visiting US Deputy Secretaries of State are currently touring Jaffna.
