Douglas Dewananda draws plans for ocean protest

Minister Douglas Dewananda states that he has decided to launch a protest expressing dissent against various harassments caused to Sri Lankan fisherman in the North, inflicted upon them by Indian fisherman.


Minister Dewananda remains hopeful in discussing the issue with Indian fisherman during the annual feast of the St. Anthony's church in Katchathivu.


When inquired by our news team Minister Dewananda noted that if the discussions do not yield results a massive ocean protest would be launched with the participation of a large number of fisherman.
