11 out of the rescued immigrants hospitalized

The group of foreign immigrants who were rescued by the Navy after been on a boat drifting around 50 nautical miles away from Akkaraipaththu have been brought to land.


A majority of them were Bangladeshi nationals while Myanmar nationals were also among them.


Medical Superintendent of the Akkaraipaththu Hospital M. Taazim expressed these views.
