Death sentence commuted for possession of 3 grammes of narcotics

An individual who was found guilty to have peddled 3 grammes of narcotics has been sentenced to death by Colombo High Court Judge Preethi Padman Soorasena.

 

The sentenced is a Tamil national of the Modara area.

 

The individual had been placed under arrest on the 31st of August 2004.
