Bodhu+Bala+Sena+files+litigation+against+All+Ceylon+Jamiyyathul+Ulama

Secretary of the Bodhu Bala Sena Organisation Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero states that his organisation hopes to initiate litigation against the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama during the course of the future.

 

The Thero's statement in this regard came during a media briefing convened by the Bodhu Bala Sena Organisation today.

However the All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama as well as the Lanka Jamiyyathul Ulama remain polarized over the issuance of the halal certification.

Meanwhile Mayor of Colombo A.J.M Mussammil expressed these views regarding Halal certifivcation during a media briefing convened by the United National Party this afternoon.

Leader of the New Leftist Front Dr. Wickramabahu Karunarathna however states that individuals should be permitted to consume which ever type of food that they prefer.

 

Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today Dr. Wickramabahu noted that this should not be governed by law.
