Laws to stop foreigners from purchasing lands in Sri Lanka

Minister of Land and Land Development Janaka Bandara Thennakoon stated that the Land ordinance will be amended in a manner that lands cannot be sold to foreign nationals.

The Minister speaking at a meeting that was held in Dambulla yesterday stated that the relevant measures will be carried out jointly with the Ministry of Public administration and home affairs.
