UPFA ready for an election anytime; Minister Susil

Election for the Central and North-Western provinces has become the topic of discussion in certain political parties these days.


At a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday UNP general secretary Tissa Attanayake said that if the Government would hold the Central and North-Western Province election his party was ready for it.




However UNP MP Paalitha Rangey Bandaara said that he was prepared to contest as an alternative UNP at the upcoming provincial election.




We inquired from the JVP also about its preparedness for the upcoming provincial council election.
