Students inconvenienced by 'Z' score issue permitted to sit G.C.E. A/L for fourth occasion

Cabinet approval has been granted to permit students who were inconvenienced by the recent 'Z' score issue an opportunity to sit for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination for a fourth occasion.


Cabinet approved the paper submitted by Minister of Higher Education S.B. Dissananayeke in this regard today.


Accordingly students who sat the G.C. E. Advanced Level Examinations during the academic years of 2013/2014, would be permitted an opportunity to sit for the examination a 4th occasion.


Meanwhile cabinet approval has also been granted to sustain a law which proscribes the sale of local lands to foreigners.


Cabinet Media Spokesperson Minister Keheliya Rambukwella expressed the following views in this regard during the day's cabinet decision media briefing.
