The national president of India's Janatha Party Dr. Subramanian Swamy met President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday at Temple Trees.

 

President Rajapaksa and Dr. Swamy discussed several matters of mutual interest as Sri Lanka was waiting to learn the stance of India on the US-sponsored resolution at the 22nd session of the UN Human Rights Council.

 

Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the Secretary to the Ministry of External Affairs Karunatilaka Amunugama were also present at the meeting.
