First leadership training and then university admission - says the Ministry of Higher Education

The ministry of higher education states that there is a reduction in the number of university students that are due to take part in the leadership training program starting tomorrow.

Speaking to our news team, ministry secretary Sunil Jayarathne stated that certain universities conducting student admission is the reason for this issue.

However, he reiterated that it is mandatory for students to take part in the leadership training program and that the training program should be given precedence over university admission.
