The Presidents Special Envoy on Human Rights Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe states that the Sri Lankan delegation remains prepared to face the report compiled by UN Human Rights High Commissioner Navaneethan Pillai & the US sponsored resolution.

 

Minister Samarasinghe who is currently in Geneva made this observation when contacted by our news team today.

Speaking further Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe noted that it was imperative for all Sri Lankan’s to rally together in order to safeguard the freedom which was attained through the sacrifices of the countries war heroes.

Moreover Dr. Dayan Jayathilleke a Senior Diplomat expressed his views on as to how the country should act in the face of the US sponsored resolution at UNHRC.
