Bodu bala sena gives up Halal.

Bodu Bala Senaa General Secretary Venerable Galagoda-Attey Gnaanasaara Thero says that they would not talk about ‘Halaal’ from today.

The prelate said so while participating at a people’s rally the Bodu Bala Senaa had organized in Kandy yesterday.

On this occasion the Thero said further that his organization would not become a political scapegoat in any way.

Meanwhile a forum of representatives of various political parties and civil organizations for national unity held a discussion in Colombo yesterday.

Participating in the session senior Sri Jayewardenepura University Lecturer Venerable Dambara Thero expressed the following view about the Bodu Bala Senaa.

However the Bodu Bala Senaa says that it is wrong to identify the Bodu Bala Senaa  as an impure organization.
