Four bills for tax amendments proposed in the budget were passed in parliament yesterday with amendments.
While 21 such bills had been presented before parliament, the Speaker informed the House that petitions had been submitted to the Supreme Court against 11 bills.
Accordingly several bills for tax amendments proposed in the budget are scheduled to be taken up for debate today as well.
