Monks to be produced before courts over Pepiliyana attack

Three monks have surrendered to police over the recent attack on a clothing store in Pepiliyana.

They have surrendered to the Mirihana Police Special Investigations Unit.

17 suspects were arrested over the incident, which took place on Thursday.

The monks who surrendered are scheduled to appear before the Gangodawila Magistrate today.
