Kilinochchi office of Udayan newspaper attacke Uphold the law - Ministry of Media requests from the Police

The Kilinochchi office of the Udayan news paper was attacked this morning.

Police media spokesperson SP Buddhika Siriwardena stated that a group of 7 individuals had carried out the attack.

He further stated that two employees inside the office were injured as a result of the attack.

TNA parliamentarian E. Sarawanabawan, the owner of the Udayan newspaper made the following statement while speaking to our news team regarding the attack.

Recently the Jaffna office of the Udayan newspaper was also attacked in a similar manner.

Our news team inquired from the secretary of the ministry of media Charitha Herath regarding this incident and he stated that the police has been instructed to bring the people responsible to justice.
