Director of the Colombo National Hospital states that he has obtained permission from the Ministry of Health to re-instate the substitute health workers who had completed their services at the hospital.

 

The Ministry of health decided to terminate the services of substitute health workers yesterday since they had supported a strike launched by minor employees.

 

Dr. Anil Jasinghe the director of the Colombo National Hospital speaking to our news team noted that this decision had been reached subsequent to discussions held in this regard today.
