The government states that the due monies of Samurdhi recipients will be provided prior to the forthcoming Sinhala New Year.

 

Leader of the house Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva made this statement in response to the question raised by MP Anura Kumara Dissanayaka under standing order 23/2.

 

In addition 4 tax draft bills will also be taken up for debate today in Parliament.
