Agricultural ministries approval to expert committee report recommendations about Kidney decease.

The experts’ committee recommendations with regard to kidney disease have been approved at the Agriculture Ministry Consultative Committee yesterday.


The Agriculture Ministry had recently appointed a 10 member committee for recommending solutions for eradicating the kidney disease.


The expert committee yesterday handed over to the Agriculture Ministry Consultative Committee 15 recommendations  including the levying of a10 per cent cess tax for pesticides considered to be causing the kidney disease and providing pure potable water to the Rajarata people.
