Ready for the challenge - UPFA

The United Peoples Freedom Alliance states that the government is ready to face the challenges against the country.


Issuing a statement today General Secretary of the UPFA Minister Susil Premjayantha stated that various forces are once again raising their heads.


The statement issued by the General Secretary of the UPFA also stated that the opposition is ready to work with foreign forces to obtain power.


Minister Premajayantha has also quoted the statement made by the General Secretary of the UNP MP Thissa Attanayaka, in which Attanayaka had stated that the Mattala Airport will be turned into a museum after the opposition obtains power.

The UPFA states that regardless of the allegations, the government will carry the country forward while accepting the rights of all races in the country.

Meanwhile, speaking further General Secretary of the UPFA Minister Susil Premjayantha also stated that the reduction of aid by the United States will not have any effect on the country.
