Negotiations on, to bring back Lankans without work permits in Saudi

The Government has started negotiations with the Saudi authorities to bring home those staying in Saudi Arabia without work permits.

The Foreign Employment Bureau Deputy General Manger Mangala Randeniya said that over 1000 illegal Lankans are currently stranded in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi government expelled illegal foreign workers from their work places recently.
