United National Party MP Ajith P Perera charged today that the government has no constructive plan to bring back the stranded workers in Jeddah.

MP Ajith Perera also found fault with the government as it failed to save Rizana Nafeek who was beheaded in Saudi Arabia recently.

Anura Priyantha whose cousin brother is also among the stranded workers in Jeddah visited the Gold FM  News today.

He explained his brother’s pathetic situation as follows.

Meanwhile Deputy General Manager of the Foreign Employment Bureau Mangala Randeniya said that the Saudi government has agreed to grant an amnesty period for the workers to return to their previous work places.
