The Department of Immigration & Emmigration in Saudi Arabia has decided to screen Sri Lankans who are currently stranded in the country subsequent to the expiration of their job card for prior offences.

According to Media Spokesperson of the Bureau of Foreign Employment Mangala Randeniya this screening is set to get underway within the course coming week & will attempt to find out if they had committed any previous offenses.

Accordingly steps would be taken to bring down those who are not convicted of any offences during the screening back to Sri Lanka in as short time as possible.
