Nurses attached to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital on strike

The nurses attached to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital are staging a protest against the decision by the authorities to transfer two of their fellow nurses.


Government Nursing Officers Association President H.K.Aruna charges that the authorities have taken the decision unilaterally on the outcome of an investigation over a surgery.




When our news team contacted the director of the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital Dr.W.Athapattu said the decision was taken to settle a dispute between hospital doctors and nurses.
