Taking up arms against motherland will not be allowed; says President.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that no opportunity would be made available for anyone to take up arms against the motherland.


The President said so while participating at the presentation of colours to the Sri Lanka Army artillery Regiment yesterday.


On this occasion the President pointed out that although by today arms were silent, the enemy was taking action to divide the country exploiting this silence of arms.
