Speaking here Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe noted that it was not only sufficient to ponder on the report submitted to the United Nations by the Sri Lankan government in 2009 or merely the LLRC report.

Moreover the Opposition Leader noted that all issues pertaining to the handing over of lands as well as the security situation could be resolved through dialog.

He also noted that the government of Sri Lanka had agreed before the UN Human Rights Council to handover lands of the displaced to their rightful owners.
