CEB provides PUC 90 million rupees

The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers’ Association charges today that the Public Utilities Commission has burdened the common man.


During a media briefing held in Colombo the Associations President Nandika Pathirage said that the CEB pays 90 million rupees to the Public Utilities Commission to renew an annual permit.


He also said that the CEB Engineers want to show their displeasure over the performance of the Public Utilities Commission.

Meanwhile journalists questioned about the increased electricity tariffs during a press conference organised by Sri Lanka Freedom Party today in Colombo.


Answering journalists Ministers Dallas Alahapperuma, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and Maithreepala Sirisena had these to say.




However UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake charged the government during a press briefing held in Colombo today.
