Anuradhapura Acting Magistrate Buvaneka Rajakaruna ordered today to further remand a 60-year-old retired Grama Sevaka who allegedly served a love letter to a 17-year-old girl.

 

The suspect, a resident of Track 5 of Gomaran Kadawala Galen Bindunu Wewa has visited the girl when she was alone at home and served her the letter.

 

Later Galen Bindunu Wewa police on a complaint made by the girl’s father arrested the suspect and produced him before the Acting Magistrate of Anuradhapura.
