State Film Corporation replies to Ravana Balaya demand

Chairman of the film corporation Ashoka Serasinghe states that if importers make a request to screen movies in Sri Lanka starring the South Indian actors who are engaging in protests against Sri Lanka those requests will be directed to the ministry.


He made this statement when a group of Buddhist monks of the Ravana Balaya Organization met him at the film corporation premises.


The Ravana Balaya Organization handed over an epistle to the film corporation recently requesting the screening of movies starring the South Indian actors in question be banned in Sri Lanka.

Leader of the Ravana Balaya Organization Venerable Iththakande Saddathissa Thero expressed the following views in this regard.
