Cabinet approval granted for amendment in electricity tariffs

Minister of Public Administration and Home Affairs, John Seneviratne stated today in Parliament that cabinet approval has been granted to the new electricity tariff amendment proposed by the President.

UNP MP Thissa Attanayaka speaking during the adjournment debate regarding the electricity tariff hike had this to say.
